Willie Florence Starnes' Obituary
Mrs. Willie Florence Starnes, age 100 of Clearwater FL formerly of Marietta, passed away May 18, 2013. She was a homemaker, a great cook, and loved to go fishing.
Grandma Starnes was preceded in death by her husband Jessie W. Starnes and her son Elvin Ray Starnes, Sr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marie Alderman and Paul Marino of Largo, Florida; 6 grandchildren: Denice and Ken Hunt of Dallas, Susan and Joe Newbold of Dallas, Elvin Ray Starnes, Jr. of Tucker, Chris Starnes of Adairsville, Nancy Starnes of Douglasville, Jeff Starnes of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; 12 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and 6 great-great-great grandchildren. The funeral services to honor her life will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Scott Rickles officiating. Interment to follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 AM.
