Mrs. Willie Florence Starnes, age 100 of Clearwater FL formerly of Marietta, passed away May 18, 2013. She was a homemaker, a great cook, and loved to go fishing. Grandma Starnes was preceded in death by her husband Jessie W. Sta Read Obituary
I remember eating ,many a good meals at granny Starnes, but on 1 occassion remember her thinking she messed up the cobbler because she gotten out a pack of peaches and a pack of apples out of the freezer.... was the best cobbler i think i ever ate... RIP Granny Starnes, We love you and will forever be in our hearts
Sympathies to all who will miss Aunt Florence. I'm sure they are having a great reunion in heaven along with our dad also. We will never forget her kindness and happy smile.

My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of granny Starnes... she will truely be missed by us all. There are so many good memories of visits to her home on Sundays, and what a wonderful cook she was. She loved us all and was there for us all. I know we all weep for her lose, but rejoice for her, that now she's in heaven.... one of my fondest memories was the time she thought she had messed up the cobbler for Sunday dinner, by getting 1 pack of apples and 1 pack of peaches out of the freezer, instead of 2 of the same, I can remember it was the best cobbler i ever ate. God Bless Granny Starnes, she was a wonderful lady and honored for her to have been a part of my life.
