Growing up in Clarkdale was special and the reasons centered around our church family which included Willard and Millie Hill. Their daughter, Millie, and I were dear friends and I spent many nights it their big house in the village and feasting on fried buttered bread and syrup for breakfast. Both Willard and Millie hold a special place in so many hearts because of their love for the Lord, Clarkdale Methodist Church and their church family. I consider it an honor to have known them. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this time and may your tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy as you remember this special man.

Some of the sweetest childhood memories I have involve Willard and Millie Hill. Walking up Mosley Road to the Mill Village pool always involved stopping in their store for treats, and then seeing them again in church all the time definitely made Mr. Hill my "buddy"! He teased me all the time - and we both loved it! "Mr. Hill, your "Polly" will always love you! Thank you for making this little girl feel so special.... "
