Virginia Morris Schillinger Kenny's Obituary
Kenny, Mrs. Virginia Morris Schillinger Kenny,age 92 of Mableton died Friday, April 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by her Husbands,Leo J. Schillinger, Jr. and Paul C. Kenny; Son, Leo J. Schillinger, III; and daughter, Stella Schillinger. Virginia was a panoist and organist. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and a member of the Senior Seeks and was in the Kitchen Band. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Bruce Stroud of Lithia Springs; grandsons, Jonathan Stroud and wife Tami of Austell; Rob Stroud and wife Susan of Marietta; seven great grandchildren; brother, Robert Morris of Atlanta; sister, Helen Rogers of Scottsdale, Ariz.; nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Graveside Services will be held Monday 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with ministers David Beville and John Spangler officiating. The family requests friends to gather at the gate of the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends Sunday 3-8 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgia Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis, 2250 North Druid Hills Rd, NE, Suite 275, Atlanta, GA 30329.
