Dear Family,
I have so many wonderful memories of Virginia, there isn't enough space to write them. She was absolutely one of the sweetest, kindest and warmest Southern ladies I will ever know. From the time I was a little girl growing up in Gordon Street Presbyterian Church, I remember her smile. She always had that warm, sincere smile and always had a positive outlook. My mother, Louise Barbee, 95, would say that Virginia was one of the dearest Christian friends she ever had. Our sympathies and love to all of you.##imported-begin##Nancy Barbee Ross##imported-end##
The video was wonderful! I loved seeing her with all the great grandchildren and with Mom!

Dear Ann,
So sorry to learn of the death of your wonderful mother. She was such a big part of our lives at Gordon Street Presbyterian Church. She was a special friend of my mother, Marie. I remember her visiting in our home on several occasions.
I cannot believe you have seven grandchildren! I am so envious. I have one son, William Blatt, who is 24 and single. He recently graduated from Georgia Tech and lives in midtown Atlanta. It's funny how I moved to a small town, Sandersville, GA, in 1975 and love the quiet pace of life, and William who grew up here, loves the fast pace of Atlanta.
Please give my fond regards to any other Gordon Street folks you see, especially David and Margaret. I'll pass along the information about your loss to my brother Don. He is out-of-town for the weekend.
