Sue Berry McCoy Groover's Obituary
Sue Berry McCoy Groover, age 79, of Powder Springs passed away January 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Berry and Lois B. Helton; husband of 22 years, Tim McCoy; and brother, Charles Fowler Berry. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, James R. Groover; three children, Cindy McCoy, Tina McCoy, and Kim & Ray Brown; five grandchildren, Justin & Rachel Brown, Brandi & Jessica Morgan, and Jonah McCoy; two great grandchildren, Brayden Koen and Brynlee Jarrett; two sisters; a brother; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Rollins officiating. Interment to follow the service at New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 4:30 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at ALZ.org.
