Let me share belated but very sincere condolences to sweet Sue's family. I am Susan Gore Gardner, daughter of the late Luke Frank Gore who was honored to have Sue as his secretary for many years at Gore, Lee & Curry law office that was located on Austell Rd. at the Perkerson Mill Rd. intersection in Austell.
Daddy always said Sue was a crucial part of the smooth running of the law office and that she was the epitome of professionalism. She was hard-working, smart, kind and polite to every client who came down the hall to Frank's office. Frank died only 3 weeks ago or he would have been at the funeral himself, perhaps to say a few words in tribute to his friend and favorite secretary.
Personally I considered Sue as a kind friend. My husband and I lived in the house next door to the law office for several years and whenever I went by she was so gracious and sweet. She would be pleased to know that I have been a secretary myself for 10 years (the church secretary at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lithia Springs) and that I tried to emulate her in my professionalism and graciousness.
May the love of family and friends give you comfort as "the hearer of prayer" embraces your hearts. Lean on those close to you for encouragement to stay strong when the days ahead cause you to be depressed. Sharing your memories will be a source of joy that will also provide comfort. We hope that the many cards,hugs,kind words, and loving prayers sustains your family during this difficult time.
This was one of my favorite memories of Sue, Sandra, Bobbie and my Mom. Love and miss you forever.
