Steve Bailey's Obituary
Mr. Steve Bailey age 54 of Marietta passed away June 27, 2011. He was a strong Christian and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Steve was the best son, husband, father, and grandfather in the world. He was shop manager of Stephens Body Shop in Mableton. He also loved coaching baseball and football. He umpired for the youth and adult baseball leagues, including umpiring in Puerto Rico and the Men’s World Series in Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy D. Bailey; mother, Janet Stephens of Lithia Springs;
sons, Jason Bailey, Jonathan Bailey, both of Mableton, Taft Caudle, Ashley Caudle, both of Marietta; daughter, Janna Bailey McAllister of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Cortney Newsome, Lindsey Caudle, Landon Bailey; sisters & brother-in-law, Patti (Bailey) & Merrell Babb of Ellijay, and Connie Bailey of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Hemphill officiating.
