Mr. Steve Bailey age 54 of Marietta passed away June 27, 2011. He was a strong Christian and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Steve was the best son, husband, father, and grandfather in the world. He was shop manager of Step Read Obituary
My husband and I first met Steve when we were a part of Milford Little league. Steve was a great coach and umpire. He was one of those "regular" guys that always had a smile on their face, willing to help people out. Everyone enjoyed his company. The best part of Steve was his heart for his family, friends and the love of the game.
He will be sorely missed but remembered always for the great man he was

We were deeply saddened to hear of your loss. When Steve came into my sister Peggy's life she was blessed. Steve showed such devotion to her and thier children. His love was unconditional and his laughter contageous. He would light up a room when he entered. He always gravitated towards our children and they loved him. He was a wonderful addition to our family and will truly be missed. His joyeous spirit will live on in our hearts and we pray that Peggy and all of his family will hold tight to memories for comfort and know that an angel is watching over you.

We first met Steve through Milford Athletic Association. The first football coach our son had was Steve. He always exhibited a Christian example for the boys. Later my late husband worked with him on the board. Steve's example and love of sports has influenced untold numbers of young men in the community. I have known Steve for several years through my dad. My family & I have always considered Steve & his family as our own family. Steve will be missed way more than words can even say.... We all have to remember that God has taken a good person for reason that only he knows.
