Sharon Watson's Obituary
Sharon Elisabeth Watson, aged 38, succumbed to Cystic Fibrosis on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Sharon graduated from South Cobb High School in 1992 with honors and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Georgia State University in 1997. She was a nanny for seventeen years to Elizabeth and Carter Gregory and was a devoted volunteer for Georgia Homeless Pets.
Sharon had a fighting spirit, a beautiful smile, and a kind heart. She loved her family and friends with great devotion, as well as her dogs and cats. In the third grade Sharon was the poster child for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation appearing in commercials and participating in events promoting a cure for the disease.
She is survived by her parents, Sandy and Glynn Watson, her brother, Bradley Watson, and the “Children of Her Heart,” Carter and Elizabeth Gregory, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and her pets, Sugar Bear, Edgar, April, Marbles, Talulah and Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Caulie F. & Lizzie Watson, and Alex and Elisabeth Di Vita.

A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home chapel in Austell, GA.
