Sharon and I worked together for Georgia Homeless Pets, and she was the heart and soul of the rescue. We all loved her for her strength and spirit, and she is the reason I felt inspired to help the rescue. Sharon was one of the sweetest, most gentle, most kind and thoughtful people I have ever had an opportunity to know. She was so full of love for her fellow man and all animals. She truly loved with all her heart and was always smiling even when you know she wasn't feeling well. You never knew because she never complained. I am so grateful that she was in my life and I know she will forever be cherished and missed by her family and friends. We all knew this day would come, now that it is here, how we grieve your departure dear Sharon! Sharon became Elizabeth & Carter's (my Grandchildren) care giver almost 18 yrs. ago. Sharon was completely devoted to them from the moment they were born. Anything a Mother would do, Sharon also did. Taking them to doctor appts., making sure homework was done, doing arts & crafts with them, buying cards for ALL occasions and sending them from the children. Sharon always gave the most thoughtful gifts, not just to the children but to everyone. Sharon had the most loving, thoughtful, gentle spirit. I never heard Sharon complain in the 18 yrs. I have know her. My life and my families lives have been blessed beyond measure because Sharon came into our lives. My dearest daughter.
When you were born it was instant love that filled my heart and body. I knew that I had the most wonderful daughter to love and provide for. As the years passed I watched you grow into the most wonderful and loving daughter that a father can have. I have loved and cherrished you every minute of everyday. I don't know if there is a scale , but I love you as much as you can be loved and miss you as much as you can be missed.
I did not know at the start which mountain in life you would be climbing. I now know that it was the worlds highest mountain that reached all the way to heaven. I know in my heart that you reached the very top. You are now in heaven with your grandparents, Alice and Cleo. You are all happy and having a good time in a place that is perfect in every way. My dear daughter, I wanted to go before you.
Today you were brought home in a different form and I want you to know how wonderful it is to have you in our home again. Please sense what is in my heart and you will know that I love and miss you so very much and can't wait to hold you in my arms and be with you forever.
