In the many times I spoke with your mother, she was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. Thank God for memories.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I dearly loved Mrs. Sara. I often wished I knew how to contact her after Mr. Braswell died. I worked with her and Mr. Clay for about 20+ years part-time. He always loved to call me his "shoe-dog"; I helped do the setups for the BIG shoe sales and worked on Saturdays. My goodness, the people came out of the woodwork for their famous shoe sales!
My grandfather, William Wainwright, was the night policeman who was killed when the store was robbed on 01/06/73.

I did love that Sara and miss her so much already. She was a sweet lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her, Beverly, and Don. All of you were such a wonderful addition to the Bingo group at Brighton Gardens. Sara was one tough lady. In the short time that I knew her, she had a strength unlike so many much younger than her. You all were in my prayers when I met you and you will stay there in the days and months ahead. May God Bless you and comfort you.
