Bennie - my brother loved the Lord and his church more than anything - loved to send out birthday greetings on a little recording and touched many lives - he was so ready to go meet his Lord and thank heaven he finally made it - He had a full life and was next to the last surviving of ten children.So proud to be a World War !! veteran, served amind the war in Germany - Thanks to you for your service - we love and will miss !

My warmest thoughts and prayers to the “Bennie Long Family.” I practically grew up in his Sister’s (Maureen Daniell) home. The L.F. Daniell Family were our neighbors and friends as well as members of our church. I had the privilege of getting to know Bennie and Annie as a member of Concord Baptist Church. Bennie was always a source of spiritual wisdom and offered it freely. Even as Bennie’s health declined he still would often display his wonderful sense of humor. The times I would visit his home it was common to find Bennie and Annie studying God’s Word. I am certain that God is delighted to have His faithful servant Bennie in His presence, even though all of us who knew him mourn his passing. Mr. Bennie Long, a life well done. My prayers and sympathy are with you during this time of loss. I wanted to share this photo of Mr. Long. He married my mom and stepfather, Glenda and Donnie Long. It was one of the most precious and memorable ceremonies. It was truly special! I did get the pleasure of talking with Mr. Long several times. He had wonderful stories to tell. Most all I know that he must have been a really great man and father, because he raised an amazing son Donnie Long. I am so proud that he is a part of our family! We love you Donnie!
