Miriam Wooten's Obituary
Miriam J. Wooten, age 82, of Smyrna passed away May 22, 2018. Miriam was a native of Gainesville, GA and lived in Pensacola, FL for 5 years, Mobile, AL for 30 years, and Smyrna, GA for the last 11 years. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and North Georgia College and a member of King Springs Baptist Church. Miriam is preceded in death by her first husband, John Dennis; and second husband, Carl Wooten. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Dennis of Montreuil, France, and Lisa (Richard) Volentine of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Matthew & Jack Iqbal; sister, Helen James of Augusta, GA; step-daughter, Mary Fancher of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and sister-in-law, Lil James of Macon, GA. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2:30 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel.
