She is survived by her son, Jeff Smart of Mableton; daughter, Carol Smart and son-in-law, Tom Fleming of Mableton; and nephew, Sam Thompson and wife, Irene of New Port Richey, FL. The family is profoundly grateful to the faithful staff of Delmar Gardens that lovingly cared for Mary in her last years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. 561 Veterans Memorial Hwy SW, Mableton, GA 30126.
