Mario "Mayi" Rios' Obituary
Mario “Mayi” Rios, age 74 of Mableton passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. He was the son of Mario and Carmen Rios. Mayi retired as a Teacher from Cobb County School System after 30 years of service, he worked for Douglas Aircraft and wrote one of the first programs to send a shuttle to space. He was a collector of Cuban items, civil war relics, guns, coins and knives. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife, Ginger Rios; children, Shannon Lee Palombi of California, Stephanie Michelle Rios of Mableton, Julio Norberto Rios and his wife Nikki of Paulding County; sister, Sylvia Campo and her husband Onelio of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Savannah Lee Palombi of California and Jaymie Nykole Glassco.
