Lueyco "Preston" Greer's Obituary
Lueyco “Preston” Greer, age 84 of Austell passed away December 12, 2014. He was a member of Austell First United Methodist Church. Preston served in the Korean War and was a member of the Chosin Few. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Greer; son, Steven Greer of Powder Springs; daughter, Susan and John Cone of Perry, Florida; daughter, Judy and Ray Lawrence of Athens; brother, Jerry Greer of Newnan, Georgia; sister, Ann and Charles Craig of Palmetto, Georgia; sister, Emma Collins of Morrow, Georgia. Preston is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Michael Martin officiating. Interment will follow the service at Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Austell First United Methodist Church, 5705 Mulberry Street Austell, Georgia 30106 and Georgia Athletes Outreach, Inc at P.O.
