Lois Dean Holbrook's Obituary
Lois Dean Holbrook, age 97 of Austell, passed away March 23, 2019. Lois was a resident of the South Cobb community for over 70 years. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta. Lois and her husband Lonnie operated Holbrook Apple Orchards for over 30 years. She was the owner of two wedding venues, The Magnolia House and The Tate House. Lois was an avid bridge player, with a bronze life membership.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Holbrook, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Holbrook Smith; grandchildren, Zane Smith, Mason Harper, Brook Harper, Blair Harper.
Lois is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Ron Mann of Big Canoe; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Jerry Harper of Douglasville; granddaughter, Cali Harper.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 1:00PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julie Boone officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
