Mr. Lawrence Totherow, age 78 of Villa Rica, formerly of Mableton, passed away July 23, 2013. Lawrence was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He retired from General Motors after 30 years where he was Read Obituary
Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Mildred, both great inspirations! I remember many family gatherings at grandma's house, they always kept us kids laughing. Told many great stories and boy did we learn about farming and cooking. Though it's been several years since I last saw Uncle Lawrence, he will be missed dearly, just as Aunt Mildred is!! Prayers for all the family.

Bro. Lawrence & Sister Mildred were a very special couple in our lives & church growing up! They always seemed to be filled with happiness! Bro. Lawrence had the biggest gardens of anyone I can remember & he made sure to tell several people from the church to come over & get some! We learned how to pick bushels of green beans, de-string, pop, & can them as kids because of his garden! And his children have always been as friendly & happy as their parents! Just wonderful people! I thank God he put them in my life!!! May God bless them & comfort them all during this difficult time.

The only Memories I have of Uncle Lawrence are good ones, I can remember as a kid when you visited uncle Lawrence & aunt Mildred, you came in and eat, told stories and acted like you were at home, because if you couldnt feel at home in thier house you couldnt feel at home in yours. His passing will leave a void that will be filled good memories and many tears. I know we dont see each other much, but please feel free to call on us if we can be of help to the Family. we love yall.
