John R. Van Antwerp's Obituary
Mr. John Rex Van Antwerp, age 35 of Dallas, passed away March 6, 2010. He worked in corporate security for SunTrust Bank and also with the Austell Police Department and Cobb County Sheriff. John was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He made everyone he met feel special. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Boddie Van Antwerp;
Parents, Patsy Jo VanAntwerp & John Henry Van Antwerp; Children, Olivia, five and Avery, three; Siblings, Dawn Van Antwerp (& James) Arrendale, Michele Van Antwerp (& Jamie) Carter; Patrick (& Kerri Wallace) VanAntwerp, & Kenneth VanAntwerp; Mother-in-law, Shirley Alford (& Rema) Martin; Father-in-law, Kenneth H. Boddie; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Lisa & Marvin Mihalak and Terri & Wayne Boddie; Nieces & Nephews: Katherine, Karrie, Kristina, & Chase Arrendale; Destiny Carter; Matt, Samantha & Melissa Mihalak; Christopher, Keith, Rheannon, & Lindsey Boddie; and his Godparents, Dr. & Mrs. Michaelides. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Billy Godwin officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
