John Eldred Stanfill's Obituary
John E. Stanfill, age 87 of Mableton GA, passed away May 4, 2021. John retired from Georgia Power Company after over 30 years. He was a long-time member of Glen Forest Baptist Church but loved attending services at other churches as well. John was a Mableton resident for 74 years. He is survived by his daughter, Viki Stephens; son-in-law, Duke Stephens; sister, Sandra Yeager, and grandson, Maxwell Stephens of Atlanta. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Betty Stanfill, and brother, Orman Stanfill. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 8 2021 at 12:30 pm at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Torre Stanfill officiating. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Cobb County Animal Shelter. In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintains social distancing.
