Jimmy was such a great friend. He was my mentor at Coca-Cola, he taught me so much. There would be times, he and I would sit in my office at the end of the day and we would discuss what had happened throughout the business day. He would give me guidance on how to handle situations. He was a great leader. Then we would talk about our families and what was going on in our lives. We had lunches together. He was the one that went to upper management and told them I should be their next supervisor. This man went to bat for me when I didn’t even know it. I remember the day he walked in and told me he had been called out of the reserves to go work in Desert storm. And I was so glad when he returned. He will be missed!! RIP Jimmy, hope to see you on the other side. Loved you so much.

pawpaw,

you are the closest thing i’ve had to a grandpa since my papa passed 5 years ago. you loved and cared for my baby “the little brown streak” as you liked to call luna and i can’t express enough how much peace that brought me knowing you loved her just as much as me and justus did. you loved me like apart of the family and i couldn’t thank you enough for making me feel so welcome. i love and miss you. i hope you are one of the many faces i see at the gates. 🫶🪽
