Jerry Neal Wilkins, age 71 of Douglasville passed away July 7, 2021. Jerry was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from the CSX Railroad. He also wrote articles for the Douglas County Sentinel. Jerry was a US His Read Obituary
Sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. Jerry, Bryan Gann and I played together growing up. We played Army on the rocks in his back yard. Life is precious and so are memories. Have many memories of Jerry and his Mom and Dad as well as his grandfather. God Bless you my friend.
I worked with Jerry at CSX Tilford, Atlanta, Ga. from 1979 thru 1991. I always knew Jerry to be serious about his work and loved talking about his other passion of history of the civil war. He also participated in the civil war reenactments(hence his nick name "Rebel". Jerry will be missed on earth by many, I will remember him in mind and heart as I considered him as a friend. Prayers to his family for peace of mind. R.I.P. Jerry Wilkins.
I work with Jerry when I started a Csx he taught me the ropes we as hunted relics at different places he will surely be missed
I worked with Jerry in the CSX CarShop in Atlanta for more than 20 years. We would always listen to 96Rock or Z93 on the radio and play Name That Tune, which Jerry would always win, he knew his his music!!! We always had great fun and were surprised that CSX would pay us to enjoy ourselves for 8 hours a day. Very sad for Jerry’s passing, but wanted his family know that he had many friends, all blessed to know him. Tim McDonald
