Prayers for all of you during this time of celebrating a life well lived. Just found out today and wanted the family to know how much my Mom thought of Jean. I enjoyed their company when Mom and I would be with her. I will never forget Jean's smile and laughter as she always had much joy !! I know Jean is now with her forever family in heaven and can just see my Mom, Johnie Turner and her talking about how much they loved their families!! Two precious guardian angels for our children. Jean taught for me for the 10 years that I served as principal at Clay Elementary. I never had to worry that she was where she was suppose to be, an doing what she was suppose to be doing. She is the only person that I ever had to give and injection. She was allergic to bee/wasp stings and one day as she brought her class back from lunch, she was stung as she entered her room. She came down to the office with the injection and was very concerned and said she could not give herself the shot. I told her I had never done it, but if she could take I was willing to give her the shot. We both survived and live to tell about it. Rest in peace Jean Dewberry. Mike I wish I could attend her Celebration of Life, but cannot make it down, sorry.
Condolences from the Summers family. We all have such fond memories of her and she was friends/neighbors with my grandmother. Definitely a life well lived!
Mrs. Drewberry loves watching her two granddaughters playing softball. Sometime with the same organization sometimes not! She was a joy to know! Such wisdom was astounding!! Terri Milam
