James "Jim" David Langley's Obituary
James David Langley, known by friends and family as Jim, age 63, of Powder Springs passed away March 30, 2020. Jim worked for Delta for 22 years. He was an antique car enthusiast; even working on and restoring cars to take to car shows. Some of his cars were even used in local movies! Anyone that knew him knew that he was a hardworking, dedicated man who loved his family and would do anything to help others.
James is preceded in death by his father, Carter Langley, Jr.; and grandmother, Thelma Stowe. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Langley; children, Charity Langley (husband, Robert Woodruff) of Sharpsburg, Faith Brown (husband, Todd Brown) of Dallas, and James Langley, Jr. (wife, Katie Langley) of Merriweather; grandchildren, Blake Williams, Hadley Brown, and Greyson Langley; siblings, Mary Miller of Alpharetta, Edward Langley of Milton, Joe Langley of Pensacola, FL, and Margie Hooks of Grayson; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
