I will always remember Jim. He was a fantastic guy, willing to give you his last. We met back in the early 2000’s at Delta Air Lines and had been friends since. We shared family stories all the time, in which he would always lead the conversation by “This may be a hard medicine to swallow, but….” Simply put, some people are worth remembering. Jim, my friend, is one of them. I’ll see you again, my friend. And we will talk it up like we always have.

I've known Jim for about 20 years or so. We worked together for several years at Delta. Jim and I took many trips together. Most of them were trips out of town to see college football games. Phoenix, San Antonio and Fayetteville, Arkansas just to name a few. We also shared a common passion together, photography. We did several trips together and took some incredible pictures. I will surely miss my good friend. I heard a lot over the years about his wife and children and I will be praying for them during this difficult time.

I remember I came to visit Jim and Shelia and Jim was showing me photos from a trip to Alaska and Greece. He was more than happy to explain where the pictures were taken and I was so excited to hear about his trips. He answered every question I had in such detail. He went into great detail about the Eagles in Alaska and olive trees in Greece. It was a fond memory I will never forget. We were all travelers sharing a great experience together.
