Herbie Smith's Obituary
Herbert M. Smith, Jr., age 59 of Mableton, passed away March 22, 2011. Herbie was a poultry entusiest, enjoyed muscle cars and old car restoration. He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Smith of Acworth; brothers, Steve Smith of Douglasville, and Tony Smith of Mableton; sister, Terri Brooks of Acworth; companion, Sharon Parham of Mableton; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Davis-Struempf Chapel on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Burman Cape, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
