Harold Wallace's Obituary
Mr. Harold L. Wallace, age 81, of Lithia Springs died Sunday, November 1, 2009.
Mr. Wallace was a member of Clarkdale First Baptist Church where he served as
choir director for 20 years. He retired from Coats and Clark and then retired
from Douglas County Board of Education. Mr. Wallace was a navy veteran. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris
Ellis Wallace; son Greg and Nancy Wallace of Powder Springs; grandchildren
Amanda and Steven Taff of Douglasville; Scott and Shannon Wallace of Acworth;
great grandchildren Caleb Taff, Ansley and Allie Kate Wallace; brother James
"Gable" Wallace of Douglasville; sisters Margaret Austin of Powder Springs and
Janie Kite of Hiram. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 PM at
Clarkdale First Baptist Church with Dr. Marvin Frady officiating. In state from
1 - 2 PM. Interment will be in Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will
receive friends Monday from 4-8 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory,
Austell.
