Harold Joseph Holbrook's Obituary
Harold Joseph Holbrook, age 90 of Mableton, passed away October 10, 2013. Harold was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the Combat Engineer Division. He was a longtime member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and a member of the Masons, Latham Lodge # 12.
Harold is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dot Kitchens Holbrook; children: Pat & Don Walden, Doyle & Debora Holbrook, and Lynn & Melanie Holbrook; grandchildren: Tracy Alvarado, Scott & Brittany Holbrook, Ashley & Dean Hege, Joey & Casey Holbrook; great-grandchildren: Jacob Alvarado, Annslee Alvarado, Madison Wilson, Cade Hege, Josiah Holbrook, AnnaBeth Holbrook, and Addison Holbrook.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 until 8 PM. The funeral service to honor Harold’s life will be held at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM, In state 1 – 2 PM, with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Harold to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Building Fund, 561 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Mableton, GA 30126.
