You would have graduated from Georgia State University on tomorrow, May 07, 2016, instead you went on to Heaven and earned the finest degree ever! I love and miss you angel.
Haleigh's story is well known by ALL those who loved her and showed her kindness and spent time with her. She knew who her family was. To assume that after 19 years, she did not know she had another side of her family, is to degrade her intelligence. It's been two (2) years since we lost this angel. NOONE from "her biological father's" side of the family ever reached out to her. Richard's permission was not required to be an aunt, uncle, cousin, sister, brother or grandmother. There is no excuse for the comments that have been left on this page. For the sake of her memory, it's ok to disappear, she didn't miss what she NEVER knew.

The only ties the Lafayette family had with Haleigh, ended June 10, 2013. I'm sorry I cannot help you clear your conscience. I was there when she took her first breath, and I was there when she took her last. No amount of words written here or social media can replace the 19 years of blessings that we had to have her in our lives. The memories that we have, are the ones that you lost.
