George Woody Thompson, Jr., age 71, passed away peacefully at the Southwest Christian Care Hospice on March 25th 2018. A lifelong resident of Mableton, GA, Woody graduated from South Cobb High School and was a 1968 graduate from T Read Obituary
Just learned that Woody passed away, too late to attend his memorial service. We worked together in the 1990s and I will always remember his integrity, his sincere desire to help his community, and his wonderful sense of humor! He was truly a blessing to all who knew him! That was the first time I met Woody....My dad and Woody's dad were in the laundry business at the same time...The two families knew each other through these connections.
