Gail and I grew up together all our lives in the suburb of Atlanta, Center Hill.
I loved her dearly. We have so many good memories of our growing up years and we both attended Center Hill Baptist Church. Every Sunday I was invited to eat lunch with her family after church and we all ate plenty of her Mom’s pinto beans, fresh onion, & cornbread. Then we would run next door and visit the Black’s house. So fun!!
Then my Daddy’s (Emory) brother, Jim Crowder, decided to date Gail’s sister, Dot, and they eventually married & I got a wonderful aunt forever!! (Gail & I used to sneak & watch Jim kiss Dot at the front door!! We thought it was so funny to spy on them!!)
I loved their whole family and I treasure my time spent with every single one of them!!
So sorry to lose Gail and my prayers are for Mike and her whole family.
Love & prayers to you all of you, Jean Crowder Mann
