Fannie Zona Bond Goodwin's Obituary
Fannie Zona Bond Goodwin, age 83, of Austell passed away September 09, 2015. She retired after 35 years with Cobb County School System. She taught at Clarkdale Austell Jr. High and was one of the first teachers at Garrett Middle School . Fannie was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to read, garden and cook. She was an inspiration to many. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. B.L and Jewell Bond; and brother Benny Lee Bond, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Lee Goodwin of Austell; and Catherine Harriett Goodwin Smith of Warner Robins; She also has many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Davis Struempf Funeral Home.
