My favorite memories of being a child revolve around Grandma Dot and Papa Townsend. They would pick us up for church. We lived near them for a while and we would go see them a lot. Papa would be gardening and out in the yard and Grandma Dot was always taking care of everybody. She loved sewing and I have some of her doll dresses and a dress she made for my sister and I when we were little. I think of her often and will
