Doug Henn's Obituary
Douglas Keith Henn, age 59, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away August 8, 2016. Doug was born July 25, 1957 in Euclid, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Bruce Henn, Jr.. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pamela Hall Henn; Lisa Canada Drum, step-daughter; Patrick Alexander Canada, grandson; Marissa Kingsley Osteen, granddaughter; Carley McKenzie Canada, granddaughter; Harper Kingsley Osteen, great granddaughter; daughter, Lauren Henn; son, Ryan Henn; mother, Virginia Sacash; brothers, Dale A. Henn (Susan), Robert (Chip) B. Henn II, Mark E. Henn; half brother, Daniel Henn; step-sister, Cynthia Thaxton, step-brother Keith Thaxton; Aunt, Sally Henn Razani; cousins, Shirin and Rezwan Razani and Merry Mossburger DeLong. He was a proud homeowner in Douglasville constantly thinking of projects, improvements and maintenance to make his and Pam's home look great. He rarely sat still -- always planning or doing a project, doing yard work, keeping fit through exercise. He and Pam worked hard but enjoyed their vacation times together away from two busy jobs. Doug was a great asset to Automated Packaging of Streetsboro, Ohio, his employer for 40 years. His experience and his knowledge of the company and their products was extensive. He started in 1976 in various entry level positions but soon moved into machine maintenance. He subsequently moved to sales and leveraged his knowledge of Automated's equipment to achieve sales awards in multiple years. Doug was born in Euclid, Ohio his family's home town. He and his three older brothers grew up in the greater Cleveland area. Doug graduated from Berea High School in 1975. At this time, arrangements for a service in Georgia are pending. There is a memorial service to honor Doug on Sunday Oct 16th at 2:00 at the Henn Mansion 23131 Lake Shore Blvd in Euclid, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to support Pamela Hall Henn in her continued recovery or donated to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org).
