Dan Frederick Rogers, 89, long time resident of Cobb County, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 after an extended illness. Dan, born in Upson County, Georgia moved to Atlanta and worked in several sales positions including Brookfield U Read Obituary
Reid and I are so sorry to hear that dear Dan has passed away. He was our good friend at Austell First Baptist Church for many years, always ready.with an encouraging word and a big smile. He was a true Christian in both word and deed, and we know he is enjoying meeting our Savior face to face!

Dan Rogers had a very powerful influence on my life. God sent him in my life and I shall forever be grateful both to God and Dan for the contribution Dan made. Here it is in brief.
After finishing a career as a Letter Carrier and years of representing Carriers, Dan gave me a job selling postal uniforms with Brookfield Uniforms. Dan, Marian, and I would sell
close to a million dollars each year. Dan taught me the ins and outs of selling. He had a saying that he used constantly: TCOB-take care of business. His interpretation of that saying simply put is, "do the right thing in every circumstance."
Dan's faith no doubt played a most important role in what he was in this life and I look forward to seeing him again one day, at the Eastern Gate. I pray that God will comfort his family during this time!!
I have so many fond memories of Dan and Faye Rogers and their girls from the years at West End Baptist Church. They were such genuine and giving people and gave so much of themselves. My thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends. Please know that you are in my heart and I am so very sorry for your loss.
