Claude believed in family first and foremost. He loved our mother unconditionally and put her on a pedestal of love and respect. Claude and Mom were love birds for life. He was the kind of man that taught me that being a father just was not just providing for your family, it was being kind, caring, supportive, Teaching the teachable moments and forgiving when needed. Claude was the most amazing father to us all and I know that I can speak for everyone in saying that I, we will miss him for the rest of our lives.

Grandpa, I can't believe you are gone. I really didnt think it was going to actually happen. I kept thinking to myself, he's so strong, he can do anything, so he can definitely pull through this. We watched you lowered into the ground, and I've never felt such sorrow. The tears kept streaming, even when I thought I had no more to cry. You were our family's everything, and such an inspiration and role model to me. I bragged about you more than you'll ever know. I love you and miss you more than ever, but know you are in a better place, and someday I shall walk with you too apon the grace of the lord.
