Claude Daniel McMichen's Obituary
Claude Daniel McMichen, age 87, of Atlanta passed away March 17, 2016. Claude was born in Atlanta Georgia. He was an avid gardener, painter, and builder. He was a founding member of Gospel Harvester Church and attended there for 45 years. Claude was a man of great faith and character. He loved to talk to people, laugh, but above all he loved his family.
Claude was preceded in death by his father, William Dallas McMichen; mother, Dosser Lowery McMichen; daughter, Robbin Petty; grandson, Gable.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louise McMichen; daughter, Sue (David) Bell; son, Mark (Krista) McMichen; son-in-law, Don Petty; grandchildren, Holly, Kimberly, Abby, Gabrielle, Joseph, Diana, and Michael. Claude is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Drucker officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday 5:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home.
