Billy Crabbe's Obituary
Billy Crabbe, age 82 of Powder Springs, GA left this world for his heavenly home on October 23, 2014 at 7:15 AM. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Roberts Crabbe; his children, Starry Drey, Judy Oberste-Clark and Tim Crabbe; five grandchildren, Jayson Willis, Justin Oberste and Cordray, Carolyn and Campbell Crabbe as well as one great-grandchild on the way; daughter-in-law, Kandy Crabbe, sons-in-law, Shaun Drey and Max Clark, granddaughter-in-law Megan Willis. Billy is the son of Oscar and Gertrude Kinsey Crabbe of Cedartown, GA. He is the sixth of nine children and is also survived by his brothers, Homer, Delano and Lamar Crabbe; sisters, Mildred E. Stewart and Faye Bozeman. He is a veteran of the Korean War and has been a pastor for over 40 years. He served his Lord, his country and his family.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 3:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home. Arrangements are with Davis- Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell.www.davisstruempf.com
