FILE BOXES MON 02-06-17
Special thanks to Bernice’s daughters-in-law who kindly gave me the stack of small, metal file boxes from Bernice’s unit. Her unit is next door to mine.
CLIPPING OF INTEREST TO BERNICE’S FAMILY
I was preparing to use the file boxes. While doing a little dusting, I found a small clipping about 2” W X 1&1/4” H on the back of one of the boxes. No telling the age of it. The paper is off-white, very brittle and the corners broke. With a magnifying glass, I am able to read these 8 short lines. I quote them for you:
"Anyone can carry his bur-
den, however hard, until night-
fall. Anyone can do his work,
however hard, for one day.
Anyone can live sweetly, pa-
tiently, lovingly, purely, till
the sun goes down. And this
is all that life really means."
