Yasma M. McGowan's Obituary
Yasma Michelle Mcgowan of Atlanta, GA transitioned to heaven on February 21, 2026.
She was born in Houston, Texas in 1961. Yasma graduated from Attucks Junior High. She graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, then later went on to graduate from Texas Southern University’s School of Law with a J.D.
Yasma loved caring for others as a nurse and caring for those close to her. She left a deep impression on those she met. Yasma was always a light to be around and will forever shine on.
She is survived by her two children, Cheyenne and Cherokee, as well as her ex-husband and best friend, Jackie.
