Woodrow Wilson Taylor's Obituary
Woodrow Wilson Taylor of Austell passed away on December 22, 2009. He was 94, and was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Alice Waldrop Taylor. Mr Taylor was a U.S. Navy Veteran of 20 years, serving in WWII, Korea and as a recruiter. He was a lifelong Presbyterian having served as Elder and Deacon in several churches and was a member of Austell Presbyterian Church.
Survived by daughters Henri Savage ( Lanier ), Martinez; Kitty Smith (Calvin), Monroe; Judy Griffin (Mike) , Adairsville; grandchildren Robert (Courtney) Savage, Blythewood, SC; Beth Savage (Dave Hageman), Lynchburg, VA; Barry Palmer (Nancy) , Jacksonville, FL; Adam Palmer (Amanda), Baltimore, MD; Michael Smith (Amy), Dacula; Dana White (Kevin), Douglasville; Missy Black (Justin), Acworth;
11 great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Buena Taylor,Carroll County.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2:00 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, Rev. David Pearce officiating with interment in Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
