Wilma Markley's Obituary
Wilma Evans Markley has gained her heavenly wings. She passed peacefully in the residence where she resided with daughter Ellen Noble and family for the past 12 years. Born Wilma Louise Evans in Nethkin, WV, she was a longtime resident of Goldsboro, NC. She married her high school sweetheart, CMSgt Joseph Edward Markley, in 1943. Mrs. Markley is preceded in death by her husband. She leaves behind 6 children: Terry Markley of Bellevue, NE; Ross Markley of Tampa, FL; Linda Gorski and husband Paul Gorski of Charlotte, NC; Dale Markley of Federal Way, WA; Ellen Noble and husband Andy Noble of Austell; GA. Joey Markley and wife Susan Markley of Goldsboro, NC. Mrs. Markley also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of who loved her dearly. Mrs. Markley will be buried with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
