William Mann's Obituary
William E. Mann, age 89 of Mableton, passed away December 27, 2012. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, retired from General Motors after 34 years, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ludie Ellis Mann. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Faye Mann; children, Susan Mann of Powder Springs, Brenda & Bobby Floyd of Austell, Alan & Susan Mann of Howard, GA, Kenneth & Dana Mann of Dallas; step-children, Angela & Brent Rollins of Dallas, Kathy & Mike Betts of Douglasville, Tory & Anne Simpson of Douglasville, Charity & Leonard Samanie of Acworth; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, 2 – 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM, In state 1:00 PM. Rev. Lamar Rackley and Rev. Tony Stallings will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
