William "Keith" King's Obituary
William “Keith” King, age 64 of Powder Springs passed away August 4, 2025.
Keith was an avid outdoorsman who found joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, camping, and spending time by the lake. Whether casting a line at sunrise or sitting around a campfire, Keith felt most at home in the great outdoors.
A talented drummer, Keith’s passion for music started early. He proudly played in the band at South Cobb High School.
Keith spent much of his career working in maintenance, first with Cobb County Schools and later retiring from the Marietta Housing Authority
Keith’s legacy is one of kindness, hard work, and an appreciation for life’s simple moments. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby King; first wife, Denise Massey King Hampton; son, Stephen Keith King; grandson, John Alexander Wallace.
He is survived by his wife, Anna McAllister; daughter and son-in-law, Kerri Wallace and Patrick VanAntwerp; grandchildren, Morgan VanAntwerp, Brianna Dukes and husband Hunter, Jace King; great-grandchildren, Raylee Dukes, Madelyn Wallace, Serenity Wallace, and Hayden Wallace. He is also survived by Dave Walker and Tony Dean, who were like brothers to Keith.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Duren officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Austell. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service on Saturday from 12:30-2:00PM.
