William "George" Alexander Davis' Obituary
William “George” Alexander Davis, age 70, of Lithia Springs passed away July 7, 2021. George was the oldest child of Alfred H. and Latty Crowe Davis. George proudly served his country in the Air Force as an aerospace ground equipment repairman. After his release from service, he became a brick mason by trade.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Carol Turpin Davis; and father, Alfred H. Davis.
George will be truly missed by his mother, Latty Truitt; sisters, Molly Land and Angie Davis; brother, Jeff Davis; sons, Alfred H. Davis Kenneth A. Davis; grandchildren, Courtney Davis, Alfred H. Davis, II, Aiko Davis, and Hendrex Davis; and many beloved extended family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 12th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Verlene Borum officiating. Interment will follow the service at Davis Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
