Willene King Smith's Obituary
Willene King Smith, age 94, of Villa Rica passed away October 5, 2017. Willene was a member of Doss Memorial Baptist Church. She was retired from Butler Shoes in Smryna and the Marietta Square and Brooks Drugstore in Austell. Willene will be remembered as a wonderful caregiver for her family. She is survived by her children, Richard (JoAnne) Smith of Carrollton and Bill (Teresa) Smith of Powder Springs; six grandchildren, Shelby Smith, Shane Smith, Tina Nixon, Elizabeth Pierce, Angela Dutton, and Lynne Sammon; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Smith and Rev. Michael Lowery officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to: Doss Memorial Baptist Church, 4500 Doss Circle, Powder Springs, GA 30127; the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org; or Concord United Methodist Church at 4682 S. Hickory Level Road, Carrollton, GA 30116.
