Willard Dean Sheffield's Obituary
Willard Dean Sheffield, age 78, of Powder Springs passed away May 21, 2019. Willard was a member of Masonic Lodge #171 in Mableton. He loved to play Keno, watch old gameshows, and hang out at his favorite little store. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. Surviving him is his wife, Marti Sheffield; son, James Dean Sheffield; brother, Ted Sheffield; and sister, Jewel Tapps. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Garner officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/.
