Wilbur Penno's Obituary
Mr. Wilbur Edward Penno, age 91, of Acworth passed away July 21, 2014. Wilbur was a member of Ellijay Adventist Church and was employed with Bestline Doors in Atlanta. He love watching the Atlanta Braves and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his wife, Betty W. Penno; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Edie Penno of Iowa; David and Nancy Penno of Michigan; Mark and Cathy Penno of N. Dakota and Mike and Selena Penno of Alpharetta, GA. Also surviving are his step-children, Scot Montgomery of Kennesaw, Julie Gungl of Ellijay and his brother, Paul Penno of Michigan, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26th, 2:30pm at Marietta Adventist Church, 1330 Cobb Parkway N., Marietta, GA 30062, with Pastor Bill Levin officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, July 25th, from 6-8pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Ellijay Adventist Church, 12472 Hwy. 515N. Ellijay, GA 30536 for a transportation service for the elderly.
