Wendy Gena Landers' Obituary
Wendy Gena Landers, age 38, of Rockmart passed away August 28th, 2021. Wendy was a proud CNA and loved caring for others. She especially loved attending to Mr. Tim and adored his family. She was a proud mama to her sweet son, Timmy, who was her whole world. They loved going on trips together and spending time with each other. She was a beloved mom, daughter, sister, niece, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Michael John Landers; maternal grandparents, Jessie and Emory Jones; and paternal grandparents, Catherine and John Landers. She is survived by her son, Timmy Landers; mother, Jeannie Landers of Rockmart; brothers, John Landers of Powder Springs, Timmy Landers of Jenkins, and Melvin Landers of New York; niece, Kerstin Landers; family friend, William Lumley; and many beloved extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Dr. Farren Roper officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
